Dimensional Communications was asked to team up with Lee H. Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership and Big Show Construction Management Company as the Exhibit Builder specialist to the project. The technological wonder of a museum experience is skillfully fitted into the cavernous space above the existing museum in the Midtown Manhattan Sony Building and has become a destination for the cyber generations - parents and kids alike.
The designer's summary says it all short of visiting the place: "The addition to the technology and entertainment museum for all ages merges education, entertainment, and technology in interactive exhibits that encourage visitors to express themselves creatively using innovative communication and digital technologies. Visitor profiles shape a personalized environment manifested in streaming information on dynamic, transparent projection surfaces and in theatrical lighting effects. The space itself represents a microcosm of the digital world."
