Self-service banking means convenience to customers and savings to banks. When Signature Bank was launched in Manhattan they came to Dimensional Communications to provide a state of the art Multimedia system to support on-line banking and IP video distribution. Networked across four branches in Manhattan and Brooklyn the system was one of the first totally automated 24-hour online banking installations in the country.
Each branch had two to three kiosks for bank customers to use for online transactions as well as automated financial news retrieval. Along with the kiosks was a video digital signage network that played marketing messages targeted specifically for each location. And so customer banking was changed forever.
